=) To kick off the Xmas Celebration for 2010, I had a steamboat gathering with the mothers and mothers-to-be from SMH forum! It was great fun as we chatted and watched the kids play. We even had a gift exchange. Each of us was supposed to get something worth $5. Haa... We had a good laugh seeing the things that we bought for each other... Wet wipes, stool, ear cotton buds (if i see correctly..) toothpaste pen, etc...
Met up with Lavania and Wen at Orchard for a dinner at Pacific Plaza... =) hahaaa... Thank you to Lava for pink mirror... Wen and I actually took some time to guess the present lor. Haa... from note pad to sanitary pad... and finally Wen guessed it correctly!!! Haaa... we had a good laugh man... Dilip came down too, to see his wife!!! Haa...
Next I had a gathering last Sunday with the girls at Carinne's n JR's love nest! Thank you peeps for opening up your place. Chef JR and Carinner were great with all the toasting of garlic breads to baked potatoes! Haa... Baby Vanille came to join us too! She shared with us some of her tears but brought us tons of joy!!! Manage to catch up Yan Ling and Jaysen... Forgot to mention that the NTUC Xmas combo wasn't that bad execpt that the turkey required many rounds of heating up but still did not get anyway close to hot after that. Played Pictionary... hahaa... I tell you, we laughed till almost our tears going to come out lor... Jovan was also very excited in me that he kept kicking away!!! Haa...
Received a lot of blessings, like the Baby Journal given by Su Yun and my brother, Iphone from my mother-in-law, baby clothes from parents-in-law, brother-in-law and his wife-to-be... =) Hopefully all the rest love their pressies too!!!

Recollection...
Recently met my neighbour on the bus, while on my way back home from work. We both sat together and caught up with each other life's happenings. Gosh, I tell you, I'm feeling old already, can!? Sigh. Time passes really fast.
When we first moved in, it was only her two elder sisters whom my brother and I played with... then later came along her and her youngest brother. OooOOOo... haha... we were still playing "masak masak" and now we are all grown ups!
What I miss most is my secondary school days... Hanging out at the MacDonalds after school, going for choir practices, having our favourite "ban mian" after GB parades every Saturdays, school camps, getting caught by the principal for "not" tucking in my shirt (which I obviously diddddddd tuck in!! I ain't that courageous to mess around with the "superman"), going over to my Bio teacher's place for extra lesson (please keep your mind from forming any dirty thoughts because it was the whole class that went!), going for PE lessons and having to put our wallets in the big plastic big! hahaa.. and there are so much more things that I miss lah! =P

Road safety.
Everyone has got a part to play in road safety. The drivers, riders as well as the pedastrians. Read an online article recently that Singaporean drivers are impatient and nasty. Ha. Finally saw another one today!
This student was crossing the road. Alright, I know was her fault and she should had crossed the road a bit faster, instead of just strolling. A car honked her and after that the driver turned and scolded her! Like duh!? Why did the driver want to do that? Hey driver, can't you be a bit more patient with her! Just let her cross over to other side of the road safely, instead of scaring her with your loud honk and your ungracious gesture of acting as if you were very angry. And pedastrian, please do not cross the road as though u own it. If it's really yours, please create a barrier to prevent cars from coming in and you can walk as slow as you want. UMPH..
Cyclists, does it hurt to slow down while you are cycling past the pedastrians? And what if the person is deaf and all you do is to ring your bell! Do you think that will work?

Saddest.
Heard this true story from my colleague last evening!
Baby's first month birthday celebration is supposed to be a happy occasion but it turns out to be a nightmare for this couple. That fateful day became the death date of their baby. =(
Seriously, people! Carry the baby only if you know how to! Don't anyhow okie? It's a life that we are talking about here! Both Bester and I can understand their pain. I'm praying to the Lord that He will carry them through this grieving time! Amen.

我失眠了！
因为没有把隐形眼镜给拿出来，所以才会在这世间从温暖的被窝里钻出来！现在有不能入眠了！How? 我失眠了啦！
Wondering what I did the night before? =P We have successfully held the Hens Night for our dear buddy, Carinne!!! Haa.. First it was us telling her that she won't be getting any celebration because while because she "popped" the question first mah! Ha. Then we "colluded" with Jia Rong to help us ask Carinne out on the 27th Feb 2010. Jen and Ying then waited at the MRT station for her while our 大小姐，made her way down to the meeting place (as expected she was late! haa.. thank goodness I put the timing @ 7.15pm yeah?) =P They then helped Carinne put on the tiara and thereafter made their way to our final destination - PUMP ROOM
=P Next surprise that we gave to our dear girl was the people whom we've invited. They are her sis, cousin, neighbours, of course us, BBSS-ians, and how could we forget her EY colleagues?
We then made her to the quiz while the rest of us wrote well wishes for the rom-bride-to-be. Woan Ni was very cute lah! She had written 3 cards can? Haa. "Your card is very small leh! Can I have another one to write more!?" That was what she told me lor! Alamak. You think we would let Carinne off so simply for the just filling up the quiz and do nothing else? Haa. WRONG! We then made her drink beer (about half a cup...but she never really have lah!) for every answer that was different from Jia Rong's (YEAH! We asked Jia Rong to do the quiz beforehand lah.)
Fulfilling her wish, we bought Carinne a bunny suit (with the assistance in changing from her sis, Kengie and cousin, Sharon!) =P Thank goodness Wen told Kengie to bring along a pair of tights! The dress indeed was kinda short! But I tell you Carinne looked so gorgeous last night lor! =P CHIO!!! *wolf whistle*
With the bunny suit, of course must do some NOTI things liao right? She had to complete in total 10 tasks that we had planned. Melody had to order a round of drinks to help Carinne boost up her courage level before attempting one of the "mission" Haa... Cannot say much here lah. Just in case Jia Rong is reading my blog ah. Haa..
Overall, I rated this HENS NITE a success. With all the surprise elements in it, and also the well planned and executing from her dearest buddies (uh-hum. Haa..BHB us ah?) and of course the wonderful and so siao "onz" guests... THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
Carinne, if you are reading this, I hoped you had the most fun night of your life, just before you enter the rite of the marriage with Jia Rong and then live happily ever after! Congratulations!

Went CNY visiting to each and every buddy's place yesterday! Ying was sick so couldn't join us (but I hope that she is feeling much better now!)
Last stop was at Carinne's place and that was where all the surprises began! =P Kengie suddenly switched off the lights in the room. Both Carinne's bro and us were shocked on this move. Haa.. then came Carinne with the chocolaty birthday cake with the candles (yes! the candles indicated that I was 25! GOSH!) haa... AwwWWww... I'm so touched can!?!?!!!?? Cos I had already told my buddies that I didn't want any celebration nor birthday present this year.. (and any other years from now.. haa..)!!! Ai yo... I got to leave earlier because Bester was waiting for me at Westmall already. So here came the 2nd surprise! They actually bought me a present!!!!??!!! Haa... Wrapped especially by Jen using 2 wrappers! Oh my gawd... See what they got me!? Exactly what I wanna get for myself too! Haa.. Thank you girls for the lovely surprises! LOVE YOU ALL TO BITS!

"A series of misfortune events."
I remembered watching this movie a couple of years ago. It was about these 3 kids who were right down unlucky.
I was in their shoes since yesterday. Shan't elaborate.
Used to celebrate my birthday by distributing chocolates (and on the excuse of celebrating Vday!) to my friends, sch mates, etc.. but this year, I've decided not to! Why!? Sigh. Cos I am feeling old and auntie. He said so too. Utterly disappointed.

我真的老了! 整个身体都腰酸背痛！这该如何是好？我想应该开始做运动吧了！
Haa... I was saying that my whole body was aching! Just because I slept on a high and hard pillow! GOSH! I'm getting really old. REALLY! Even my level of concetration is not as good as before. This is truly evident during the last half an hour of my lesson time. My eyes can hardly open! And you know what? This is also the case during weekend lessons! I AM OLD! 老了啦！How!? SIGH!!!
Sister T aka K, I hope that you are not affected by what you are going through now. You will definitely meet the one. Time. =P

Darn! What the ****!!! Although I've already signalled saying that I'm turning right, I'll have to wait for oncoming traffic to clear first right? You WERE right behind me, and I was as much as possible trying to steer to the right but that doesn't mean you have the right of way to bypass me. You should slow down and wait till I go off then you speed up! It's either you getting old and forgetful (then you should go back to the driving centre to have a refresher's course) or you are young and impulsive. I hope (from the bottom of my heart) that you will not meet any accidents in near future and that you do not endanger other people's lives.

Researchers have revealed that inefficient exercise and excessive computer usage are the top two bad health habits, according to a recent report on the top 10 unhealthy habits.
According to Sung Pei-kun, the research centre director, two-thirds of interviewees exercise less than three times per week. The study used the health reports of 18,061 adults from the MJ Health Screening Centre.
Using a computer for more than three continuous hours a day ranks as the second worst health habit, said Sung.
Another dangerous health habits include sitting with legs crossed which can lead to blood clots in the veins, dislocation of spinal discs and scoliosis. Further, sitting on the toilet for long-periods can worsen hemorrhoids and increase the risk of constipation.
In addition, forced bowel movements can seriously endanger health, causing an instant raise in blood pressure, causing cerebral hemorrhage.
Others bad habits that could cramp your lifestyle include toilet reading, eating hot food, excessive coffee or tea intake, insufficient water intake, lifting with a bended back and getting out of bed right away after waking up.
Sung added that bad health habits account for 50 per cent of modern-day killers. Other major factors include poor medical services at 10 per cent, environment at 20 per cent and heredity at 20 per cent.

For once, I was thinking hard of what do I need. This word appeared. "REST". Yes! I need time to have a good sleep and rest. I'm feeling physically tired, most probably due to age. Haa. Not as agile as before already. GOSH! I'm only going to be 25 and not 52! Haa...
Time to set some resolutions before my 25th birthday. =P The list is not in any sequence.
1) To do up my room. (yes yes, i've been saying about this ever since my 21st birthday! =P)
2) Not to procrastinate on anything but to settle the issues within the shortest possible time. (of course with proper treatments and accuracy)
3) To be a better daughter to my parents and parents-in-law by spending more quality time with them.
4) To be a better wife. QUALITY time with papa! =)
5) To get at least 60 mark for all my ACCA modules!
6) To be a better friend to my pals and buddies! =)
7) To be a better follower of Christ. (I can't really say that I am one because I am not baptized. Still in a dilemma.)
8) To be a better sister. (Hopefully I am quite a good one so far!)
9) GB. =) I am working on this! Hopefully can get it done by June 2010.
10) Accurate and less mistakes in my work. Be more familiarized with the work flow.
11) To be a listener.
12) And YES, I want to be a non-practising accountant by year 2015!

Manageable. But I am feeling the "strain" of this hectic lifestyle. This is path I've chosen and I'm sticking to it.
Though my room may in a big mess, but I am actually a organized person. I like to tidy up my stuff every once in a blue moon. Haa. But when it comes to others, I ensure that they are restored to their original or if not in a better condition compared to before. Proactive.
But there are some who only care for themselves. A hard fact of reality but I've already accepted it.

Part 2
Post Xmas 2009 and Pre New Year Celebration with Ting & Hui
Ms Aeroplane has got sore eye (left one!) but we still went ahead with our gathering. We had buffalo wings with duck pizza. Haa... Ting and Bester are not used to the taste of the duck pizza while Hui and I enjoy it to the max! Lesson learnt for the year: Don't choose drinks with fanciful names! They taste horrible!

New Year's Eve with Buddies
We spent our New Year's Eve with Jen and Jacky & Wen and Jeremy, watching 3D Avatar at Lido. Haa... It was my first time experience (and so is Bester's first) watching the 3D show! Overall, we find it to be nice! Here are the photos taken with the specs on! Haa... I realised that my mobile's camera flash function was really bright! Look at our eyes.
